I am extremely happy to announce that, Bidar District has taken the initiative for bringing the different schemes in the educational & health field for the students & needy people of different sections of the society with a noble cause reaching out to the unreached. This Project “Vidyavahini” launched on September 20th, 2011 would certainly help the needy people by making them aware of the existing schemes.

An earnest effort has been made to consolidate various schemes in different sectors for availing the benefits in one platform. Not only the schemes in educational sector, but also different schemes available for the health security, economic development, research grants, Awards, fellowship & scholarship etc. They have been systematically well organized with ready reckoner with sufficient details viz: category, eligibility criteria, applying procedures, duration etc.

At the time of launching the total scholarships updated in the website was just 46 and now it has reached to 265 and also re - modification done with relevant sections for easy operational methodology. Time to time it gets updated too for easy access.

I hope, this Innovative Project would help the needy people and in particular, students community to the large extent.
